Kylie Bishop

Kylie Bishop / Founder & Business Executive

Kylie has over 27 years’ experience within professional services environments and has held executive roles in small, medium and multi-national corporations within the engineering, environmental and legal industries. Having founded three companies, Kylie now describes herself as an entrepreneurial problem solver with expertise in finance and people management, business and risk analysis, strategic planning, and governance. An experienced and passionate business improvement consultant and facilitator, she is committed to a leadership and communication style that enhances the outcomes for businesses and their people. Kylie’s entrepreneurial spirit, her interest in people and her drive for continuous improvement, saw her announced as the 2012 South Australian Telstra Business Woman of the Year. In the same year, she also won the Hudson Private and Corporate Sector Award, and was runner up in the Nokia Innovation Award. She was a finalist in the 2015 EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards. Passionate about giving back to the community and in the education of our young people, Kylie has held roles on Government Committees providing advice on the education system in our State, and has recently written the SACE curriculum for the Business Innovation subject. Kylie was previously a Director of North Eastern Community Hospital, Chair of Glenunga International High School, a member of the Public Education Advisory Committee for the Minister for Education SA, and a long term netball coach. She unashamedly believes that anything is possible.
Jarrod Bishop

Jarrod Bishop / Managing Director | Senior Principal

Jarrod is a Managing Director and a Senior Principal Environmental Scientist of LBWco. He has operated as a professional consultant for 17 years and has led or been a key team member on well over 1000 projects across Australia during that time. Jarrod’s core technical expertise is in the assessment and mitigation of risk posed by site contamination and in the delivery of pragmatic project solutions focussed on advancing the client’s projects or operations. He advises oil and gas providers; mining & exploration companies; petroleum distributors; industrial, manufacturing , ports and rail companies; property developers, architects, civil and construction companies; state government departments, local government, project managers and small business, and relishes the chance to solve their unique problems. Committed to excellence and innovation, he is an industry leader in site contamination and environmental advice and is the current President of Australian Contaminated Land Consultants Association (ACLCA) SA. A dedicated family man, sharing the raising of 5 children with Kylie, Jarrod also coaches primary school basketball. Scott Boorman

Scott Boorman / General Manager

Scott has a hybrid role at LBWco and utilises his experience with us over the past 10+ years to deliver senior environmental consulting and project management alongside operations management. He is skilled in the logistics and execution of complex soil and groundwater field work programs; in the delivery of a range of site investigations; in strong data interrogation and in reporting. He has worked on projects and sites spanning metropolitan Adelaide, regional SA, remote central Australia, Northern Territory, South West Queensland and Victoria for a diverse client set in the public and private sectors. His sound understanding of key environmental issues, combined with his project experience and focus on continuous improvement makes him valuable member of the innovation team.

Annabel Geitz

Annabel Geitz / Principal Environmental Consultant

Annabel is an Environmental Engineer with over 21 years’ experience and is passionate about collaborating with clients, Auditors and regulators to find practical solutions to environmental issues and mitigate risks to communities and the environment. A details person with excellent report writing and review skills, a good understanding of commercial risk, and a strong safety focus, she is a well respected site contamination Principal in our industry. Annabel’s broad experience in delivering and project managing environmental site assessments, involving both soil and groundwater contamination and soil vapour, has spanned projects across South Australia, Townsville and Melbourne. She has engaged with a broad range of clients and stakeholders from petroleum, industrial and commercial organisations, along with government, making her a great fit for the LBWco team. In her spare time, Annabel enjoys trying out new recipes, DJ-ing, cycling, bushwalking or practicing yoga.

Nick Brewer

Nick Brewer / Principal Environmental Consultant & Certified Environmental Practitioner Site Contamination Specialist

Nick is a Principal Environmental Consultant & Certified Environmental Practitioner Site Contamination Specialist, and has worked in the field of contaminated land investigation and assessment for more than 20 years in both the UK and in South Australia. Attaining certification as an Environmental Practitioner with Site Contamination Specialisation in 2018, he offers significant expertise in project management, technical reporting and the development of fieldwork programs and has extensive experience in successfully delivering site investigation, assessment and remediation projects for a range of clients. Nick’s particular focus areas are landfill gas and human health risk assessment. A level headed leader, Nick is committed to solving problems in a calm pragmatic way. Embracing the opportunity to work flexibly, Nick relocated his family to the UK in April 2018 and works full time with us from his home in Wetherby, near Leeds. The resulting time difference and our use of effective electronic media means that we can keep the business running about 16 hours a day and achieve productivity efficiencies at the same time. A father to three small children, Nick is passionate about sustainability in general, but in particular, that of the world’s fisheries.
Tess

Tess / Senior Environmental Advisor & Team Leader

After two years travelling in the UK, Tess recently re-joined the LBWco team and brings with her strong skills in assessing and advising on a range of environmental issues. Her experience navigating complex regulatory environments with multiple sources of data, combined with a unique insight into the oil and gas industry, allows her to add value to our clients in the resources sector. An effective communicator with project management and environmental risk mitigation skills, Tess works across all of our projects from due diligence and feasibility through to larger scale assessment and remediation. Tess has a passion for travel and learning about other cultures and thrives on new experiences.

Matt

Matt / Environmental Consultant & Field Team Leader

Matt has a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Environmental Science and Geoscience and joined LBWco after a number of years in the mining industry. He has extensive experience in remote parts of Australia working as a geophysical surveyor and as a supervisor managing the job and crew in the field. With a practical and pragmatic approach to field work and a keen sense of the environment and health and safety, Matt is involved in the delivery of our field programs in the Cooper Basin and local areas and the interrogation of the resulting data. A keen sportsman, his competitive streak and determination to find a winning solution are a natural fit for LBWco and our clients.
Jade

Jade / Environmental Consultant

Growing up on a farm in North Queensland, Jade quickly gained an appreciation of our environments important role in sustaining human health, leading her to complete her Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science) in 2019. After 1.5 years of employment in consulting and GIS, Jade joined the LBWco team in January 2021 as an Environmental Consultant and is eager to extend her skillsets further. With a keen creative eye, innovative mindset and her attention to detail and quality, Jade is a natural fit for the LBWco team. Outside of her role, Jade spends her time drawing, reading, volunteering at her local wetlands or roller-skating.

Antonio

Antonio / Environmental Consultant

Antonio is a site contamination consultant and project manager with over 10 years’ experience and specialist skills in oil and gas sites around the world. He was the Technical Manager for an environmental company in Venezuela; has worked in Trinidad & Tobago, Chile, and the US; and more locally, is experienced in the Cooper Basin. Outside of consulting, his passion for the industry at large has seen him hold roles both as a regulator and in the laboratory setting, making him an excellent problem solver and a great fit for LBWco! Antonio has a friendly personality and a sense of humour, and we are excited to have him in the team.
Gaetano

Gaetano / Environmental Consultant

Joining the team in 2022, Gaetano is an environmental professional with over 18 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry as a field engineer, and offers extensive experience in assessment and monitoring, project management, data analyses and trouble shooting. He has a PhD in Geological Sciences, a special interest in hydrology, and has been involved in drilling programs in Bangladesh, Papua New Guinea, Israel, Croatia, Italy, Turkey and Congo and Australia, including the Cooper Basin, for a range of clients. Level headed and practical, he delivers effective field programs locally, regionally and remotely, and uses his strong analytical skills to interpret data and report on a range of site contamination issues. His friendly nature and family values mean “Dr G” is a natural fit for the team, and we certainly enjoy his story telling and home cooked food.
Kane

Kane / Environmental Consultant

Kane joined the LBWco team in early 2023 as a newcomer to the industry, with a critical and curious mind, and the ideology that learning is a never-ending process. He has an appreciation for transparency, pragmatism, efficiency, and uncovering answers.

Growing up as an Adelaide local on the outskirts of the Barossa Valley, Kane has always expressed a passion for the natural sciences, particularly in geology. He subsequently completed a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Geoscience and Environmental Science in 2020 and comes to LBWco with a keen motivation to assess, understand and assist with the management of various environmental issues.

Prior to joining LBWco, Kane spent two years as a soil technician / geotechnician in the Construction Materials Testing (soil testing) industry, in a NATA accredited laboratory. During this time, he was highly adaptable with working both within the laboratory and in the field to satisfy his clients’ needs. In the laboratory, Kane was largely involved with various technical tests used to determine the physical and reactive properties of natural and clean fill materials in accordance with numerous Australian Standards. He brings with him a range of field-based and hands-on skills to deploy in site investigations and data collection. He aims to utilise and expand his experience to produce a meaningful contribution to the industry and the environment, with the desire to develop a strong fundamental understanding of the end-to-end process in site investigation, remediation and reporting of results.

Sally

Sally / Administration and Finance Coordinator

With a career spanning over 25 years in customer service, administration and finance in a range of business settings, Sally supports the LBWco team to deliver excellence by taking care of the smaller details. From project administration to client invoicing, paying suppliers and reconciling our project databases, her eye for detail and love of a spreadsheet make her a natural fit.

After spending a number of years in the US, Sally settled back into Adelaide with her husband and two daughters to enjoy a quieter life. She is a keen baker who can be found at two of our local weekend markets offering homemade breads.
